About the Role
SUSU College, a reputable private co-educational secondary school located in Nkpor, Anambra State, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Mathematics lessons aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to improve academic outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active student participation.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and developmental milestones as required by the school administration.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, staff training sessions, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Mathematics or a related field; equivalent qualifications are also acceptable.
- Candidates holding an M.Sc or PhD in relevant disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
