Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum for secondary school students.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to monitor student progress.
- Evaluate and grade student assignments, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a supportive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and critical thinking.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Mentor and guide students in moral and character development in alignment with the mission of the school.
- Minimum of a First Degree (B.Sc or HND) in Mathematics or a directly related field.
- Graduation with a First Class or Second Class Upper division is strictly required.
- An educational qualification such as a B.Ed or PGDE, alongside a higher degree (Master's or PhD), will be a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional teaching ability, strong communication skills, and sound educational character.
- Relevant teaching experience is an advantage, though enthusiastic first-time applicants are also welcome to apply.
