About the Role
Olivefield Schools Abuja is a reputable private educational institution dedicated to providing a holistic learning experience that seamlessly integrates conventional Western education with sound Islamic values. We operate a comprehensive dual curriculum combining the NERDC Nigerian curriculum and the British curriculum across our early childhood, primary, and secondary education levels. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons aligned with both the NERDC and British curricula.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that reflects Islamic values and moral standards.
- Mentor and guide students academically, socially, and spiritually to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to develop departmental goals and participate in school activities.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student performance and behavioral development.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proven teaching experience delivering the Nigerian (NERDC) and British mathematics curricula.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for diverse learners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
