About the Role
The Lamb Academy is a newly established, premium educational institution located along Lotto/Shimawa Road, Mowe. We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our esteemed faculty and deliver an exceptional academic experience to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Utilize information and communication technology (ICT) tools to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
- Prepare students for local and international examinations, including the IGCSE curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive learning environment in alignment with the school's core values.
- Participate collaboratively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and extracurricular school activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) with a specialization in Mathematics or a related discipline from a reputable institution.
- Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
- Must be a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience, preferably within an international school setting.
- Strong proficiency in using ICT to drive modern teaching methodologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in teaching the IGCSE curriculum.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
