About the Role
Global Rainbowbird Partners is currently recruiting a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher for a reputable secondary school located in Lagos. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' analytical capabilities, fostering a deep appreciation for mathematics, and ensuring comprehensive preparation for both internal and external examinations within a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons tailored to the secondary school curriculum.
- Design comprehensive lesson plans, daily assignments, quizzes, and term examinations.
- Cultivate critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and advanced problem-solving skills among students.
- Prepare students thoroughly for key external examinations with a strong track record of success.
- Track individual academic progress, evaluate performance metrics, and deliver constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Uphold a positive, orderly, and inclusive classroom management culture conducive to effective learning.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education with a focus on Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven secondary school teaching experience post-NYSC.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of secondary school mathematics syllabi and pedagogical strategies.
- Possess exceptional verbal communication, interpersonal, and classroom leadership skills.
- Exhibit strong dedication, responsibility, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team of educators.
- Must currently reside in Okota or its immediate environs to ensure seamless commuting.
