About the Role
Owolabi University, a newly established and NUC-licensed private institution located in Osun State, Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and qualified academic to join our growing team as a Lecturer I in Cybersecurity. Dedicated to widening access to quality higher education and preparing globally competitive graduates, we invite passionate scholars to contribute to our vibrant academic community within the Faculty of Science and Computing.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in cybersecurity and related computing courses.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and practical laboratory sessions.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic mentoring.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives as required by the university.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- At least three (3) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a recognized university.
- A minimum of eight (8) scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and pedagogical approaches.
