Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver well-structured, engaging mathematics lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to struggling learners.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and curiosity.
- Utilize a variety of teaching aids, manipulative materials, and digital tools to make abstract mathematical concepts tangible and easy to understand.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to plan school events, curriculum improvements, and student development strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior, communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc in Mathematics, or a related field with a recognized teaching certification (e.g., TRCN).
- Proven teaching experience in a reputable primary or preparatory school setting within Nigeria.
- Deep understanding of modern pedagogical approaches and child development principles.
