Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics and Further Mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
  • Employ innovative teaching strategies and digital learning tools to simplify complex mathematical concepts for diverse learners.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for internal and external examinations with a focus on exceptional performance.
  • Set, administer, and mark tests, quizzes, assignments, and examinations constructively.
  • Monitor, record, and support individual student academic progress, providing targeted interventions where necessary.
  • Participate actively in school events, academic competitions, and co-curricular activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, school management, and parents to support holistic student development.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed, B.Sc, or B.A with PGDE) or NCE in Mathematics or a directly related field.
  • Valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification or evidence of ongoing registration is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated prior teaching experience in a reputable secondary school setting.
  • Sound knowledge of modern pedagogical methods, classroom management techniques, and educational technology.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Impeccable moral character, integrity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for child development.
