Petro-Tracking Services Limited, an ISO 9001:2008 certified leader in nondestructive testing, material testing, and third-party inspection, is seeking a diligent and organized Materials Man to join our ultramodern facility in Nigeria. Established in 2014 by industry experts, we provide world-class technical solutions to the oil and gas, manufacturing, aerospace, and construction sectors. In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless receipt, storage, and issuance of critical engineering materials and testing equipment, directly supporting our commitment to operational excellence and safety compliance across all projects.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming engineering materials, NDT equipment, and laboratory supplies against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, and asset tracking using computerized management systems and physical audits.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse and storage yards in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, technical inspection teams, and project managers to ensure timely material dispatch.
- Prepare regular inventory reports, track stock usage, and identify potential shortages or discrepancies.
- Handle material issuance to various testing departments while adhering to strict company quality control protocols.
- Possession of a Bachelor Degree, HND, or OND in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proven working experience in materials handling, inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar industrial environment.
- Familiarity with oil and gas, manufacturing, or engineering materials and testing equipment is a distinct advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management software.
