About the Role
Aldelia Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Materials Coordinator to join our team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will oversee the seamless coordination and control of material movements between onshore sites, offshore platforms, and vessels. You will ensure that all logistics operations comply with strict health, safety, and environmental standards while supporting the continuous operational needs of our oil and gas assets.
Key Responsibilities- Control and coordinate material movements between offshore locations, onshore sites, and vessels in conjunction with logistics supervisors.
- Manage the reception, inspection, and acceptance of materials, ensuring valid certification and colour coding for all lifting gear and equipment.
- Collaborate with HSE teams to conduct pre-mobilization inspections and verify that all transport and lifting means meet safety standards.
- Coordinate material registration within SAP and initiate requisitions for transportation, repairs, and procurement services.
- Interface with decentralized buyers, procurement departments, and field operations to guarantee timely delivery and prevent project disruptions.
- Administer and maintain dedicated project materials on base while visiting suppliers to ensure quality compliance.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in logistics, stock control, and warehousing.At least 5 years of direct operational experience within the oil and gas industry.Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems, particularly SAP.Strong understanding of HSE standards, lifting gear certifications, and supply chain workflows.
