About the Role
Terra Energy Services Nigeria Ltd (TES) is a leading indigenous engineering and oil and gas service company committed to delivering integrated solutions across the energy value chain. We are currently seeking an experienced and technically competent Material Handler – Onne (Senior Technician) to support the safe, efficient, and reliable management of oilfield materials and equipment at our operational base in Rivers State.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, identify, preserve, store, and issue oilfield materials and equipment.
- Verify material quantities, specifications, and supporting documentation against approved records.
- Support loading, offloading, lifting, packing, and safe movement of materials within warehouse and logistics areas.
- Maintain accurate bin locations, stock records, material traceability, and warehouse documentation.
- Coordinate materials required for offshore and project mobilization, dispatch, demobilization, and returns.
- Ensure materials are stored appropriately and protected against damage, deterioration, or loss.
- Identify and report shortages, damages, discrepancies, and preservation concerns promptly.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping and safe material handling practices.
- Support inventory counts, stock verification, and reconciliation activities as required.
- HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or relevant technical and logistics qualification.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, with strong upstream E&P exposure.
- Proven hands-on experience in comparable warehouse, logistics, and materials handling environments.
- Strong knowledge of material handling procedures, inventory controls, and technical documentation.
- Forklift, rigging, or lifting certifications are highly desirable.
