Aldelia Limited is seeking a dedicated and organized Material Assistant to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our Oil and Gas sector operations by ensuring that specialized materials and Deepwater equipment are readily available, properly stored, and compliant with strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities- Ensure materials and equipment are available on time, in good working condition, and compliant with required QA/QC standards.
- Manage Deepwater equipment storage, shipment, return, and inventory.
- Raise and follow up stock consumption and subcontracting Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate material picking lists and the seamless movement of drilling materials to rigs.
- Create and maintain material numbers in SAP in line with established standards and reconcile physical stock.
- Liaise with vendors regarding invoices, PO documentation, and service delivery while supporting local purchasing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, operational, and quality requirements.
- Technician-level formal education or relevant technical qualification.
- Entry-level to beginner professional experience in a technical, materials, logistics, or oil and gas environment.
- Proficiency in SAP is strictly required for this position.
- Basic understanding of drilling and completion operations, inventory management, and material control.
- Strong coordination, communication, follow-up, and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
