We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Mass Communication Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and educate students in media studies, journalism, communication theory, and related disciplines, whilst contributing to the academic excellence our institution is known for.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging Mass Communication lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum
- Create and implement comprehensive lesson plans that promote critical thinking and practical media literacy
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth
- Mentor students in journalism, media production, and communication skills
- Contribute to school development initiatives and curriculum enhancement programmes
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, parents, and school management
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.ED or B.S.ED) with specialisation in Mass Communication
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in secondary school teaching and management
- Strong subject matter expertise and passion for Mass Communication education
