Airtel Africa is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our vibrant team in Abuja, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in stimulating customer acquisition, driving sales through exceptional brand visibility across multiple channels, and reducing churn via targeted campaigns. You will work closely with Area Sales Managers and Market Developers to translate raw data into actionable insights for brilliant field execution. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the distribution and productivity of KYC terminals and kits in the assigned zone while ensuring minimal downtime and reduced Repair TAT.
  • Implement the regional trade marketing strategy, determining merchandising requirements and ensuring optimal product availability across all trade channels.
  • Drive trade visibility measurement, track performance during events, and collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager on promotional activations.
  • Partner with the sales team to execute coverage marketing, BTS site activations, and maintain strict showroom compliance with shop guidelines.
  • Collate and analyze raw field data to generate valuable insights for business growth and customer retention.
  • Coordinate zonal projects to ensure timely and accurate delivery while effectively escalating deviations for prompt resolution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Social Sciences, or Pure Sciences; a postgraduate degree in Business Management or Marketing is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in marketing activations and channel branding gained from an agency or the FMCG sector.
  • Excellent command of the English language coupled with superior organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, innovative thinking, adaptability, and high stress tolerance.
