About the Role
Spin 95.3 FM, a leading commercial broadcast radio station operating 24/7 out of Umuahia, Abia State, is looking for a results-driven Marketer to join our growing team. Launched in late 2023 on the 95.3 MHz frequency, we serve as the ultimate bridge for entertainment and information targeting youth and general audiences across the Southeastern region of Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to boost station listenership and commercial revenue.
- Identify, pitch, and secure advertising clients, sponsorships, and partnerships for radio programs and events.
- Conduct market research to understand audience trends, competitor activities, and regional advertising demands.
- Collaborate with the production and programming teams to create commercially viable broadcast packages.
- Represent Spin 95.3 FM at promotional events, community outreaches, and corporate functions.
- Manage client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in marketing, media sales, or a similar commercial environment, preferably within the broadcasting industry.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and target demographics in Southeastern Nigeria.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet strict revenue targets, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
