About the Role

Westfield Consulting is seeking a talented and analytical Market Research Specialist (Officer 1) to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality primary and secondary research, developing industry insights, and supporting vital policy advocacy initiatives. You will work closely with our expert consultants to transform complex datasets into compelling, decision-oriented narratives for our diverse corporate and organizational clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary market research across multiple economic sectors to generate actionable business insights.
  • Design, manage, and execute surveys, structured interviews, and questionnaires using modern research tools.
  • Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data to identify emerging industry trends and opportunities.
  • Develop high-quality reports, insight papers, executive presentations, and thought leadership publications.
  • Monitor economic, regulatory, and market shifts to provide timely intelligence and strategic recommendations to internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, industry experts, and strategic partners to successfully execute end-to-end research projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of professional experience in market research, data analysis, or insights development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, survey design, and analytics techniques.
  • Proficiency in research and data analysis software such as Excel, SPSS, Google Forms, and SurveyMonkey.
  • Exceptional report writing, statistical analysis, trend forecasting, and stakeholder engagement competencies.
