About the Role

Tetra Maritime is a leading Nigerian ship owner and operator, providing comprehensive and tailor-made solutions across the oil and gas supply chain, including upstream, midstream, and downstream. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented compliance professional to support the Group’s global governance, compliance, and corporate administration activities across multiple international jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support statutory filings and corporate registry submissions across multiple jurisdictions including the UK, Singapore, Bermuda, and India.
  • Assist with entity management and corporate administration for a comprehensive global SPV portfolio.
  • Draft board minutes, written resolutions, and maintain statutory registers and corporate records.
  • Conduct KYC/AML onboarding and compliance checks on third parties.
  • Provide KYC documentation and group structure charts to banks, counterparties, and service providers.
  • Coordinate cross-border incorporations, dissolutions, corporate changes, and support intragroup restructurings.
  • Maintain departmental trackers, databases, and filing systems while liaising with banks, auditors, and legal counsel.
  • Provide general administrative, compliance, and company secretarial support to the legal team.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in a legal, compliance, corporate services, or financial services environment.
  • Prior exposure to shipping, commodities, finance, or SPV-heavy corporate groups is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience with statutory filings, corporate registry submissions, and board documentation.
  • Strong drafting, document preparation, and record-keeping skills with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with energy, agility, and resilience across fast-moving matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
