Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all daily marine operations, maintenance, well control, and drilling support activities on board the drillship.
- Ensure strict adherence to company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the marine crew, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety awareness, and high performance.
- Coordinate closely with other department heads to ensure seamless drilling operations and rig maintenance schedules.
- Maintain compliance with international maritime laws, flag state regulations, and classification society rules.
- Minimum of 10 years of strong technical background encompassing drilling, well control, maintenance, and marine operations.
- Educational background including SSCE, WAEC, GCE O-Level, OND, HND, or B.Sc. degree.
- Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and management skills with a proven track record of team motivation.
- Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written.
