About the Role
Rainoil Limited, a leading downstream oil marketing company, is recruiting a Marine Operations Executive to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee marine operations including vessel management, cargo logistics, and fleet coordination to ensure seamless petroleum product distribution across our national network.
Key Responsibilities- Confirm vessel availability for hiring and coordinate with requesting parties to meet product delivery requirements
- Monitor timelines and cargo receipt/offloading processes to minimise demurrage costs and operational delays
- Prepare and maintain vessel allocation schedules aligned with distribution demands
- Monitor real-time vessel voyage status using fleet management systems and track location coordinates
- Generate comprehensive progress reports detailing vessel positions, estimated arrival times, and identified issues
- Receive and process cast-off reports from vessel captains and forward documentation to the Ports Operations Manager
- Maintain accurate records of all voyage transactions and post-operation activities
- Liaise with shipping partners and port authorities to ensure operational efficiency
- Collate post-operations reports for review by senior management
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in marine operations or shipping
- Bachelor's degree (minimum Second Class Upper Division) in Maritime Transport Management or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of shipping agency operations and marine logistics
- Proficiency with fleet management systems and maritime documentation
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
