We are seeking an exceptional Managing Director to spearhead our executive leadership team, drive market expansion, and ensure the long-term financial health and regulatory compliance of our institution within the Nigerian financial sector.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate, execute, and monitor the bank's strategic plans in alignment with the Board of Directors' vision while driving business growth across microfinance and SME segments.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring portfolio health, robust credit risk management, and the successful deployment of innovative digital banking solutions.
- Maintain ultimate accountability for P&L, capital adequacy, liquidity management, and strict adherence to CBN and NDIC regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the executive leadership team while fostering an inclusive, high-performance, and ethical organizational culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or related fields; a Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Mandatory Microfinance Certified Banker (MCB) certification by CIBN, alongside professional qualifications like ACA, ACCA, or CFA.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive banking experience, with 5 to 7 years in a senior executive leadership role such as Executive Director or Chief Operating Officer.
- Must meet all CBN regulatory Fit and Proper person requirements for microfinance bank executives.
