About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a member of the Standard Bank Group, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Banker to join our team in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our financial inclusion agenda by managing existing client portfolios, onboarding new business customers, and delivering exceptional financial solutions across our diverse product suite.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of business and retail banking clients to achieve profitability targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and onboard prospective clients within the Ogbomoso region.
- Provide expert financial advice and cross-sell a wide range of products including loans, current accounts, and investment services.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards, credit processes, and account opening requirements.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individual clients.
- Minimum of a First Degree in any discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- 3 to 6 years of cognate experience in sales, customer relationship management, or business banking within the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated ability to drive profitability, interpret data, and generate innovative business ideas.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven capability in convincing and engaging clients.
