About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Manager of IT Operations to lead our technological infrastructure in North-West Nigeria. In this critical role, you will ensure superior service delivery, maintain system integrity, and lead a dedicated team of IT professionals in a fast-paced education environment.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary escalation point for IT support, resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues efficiently.
- Manage service desk tickets and operational performance to minimize downtime and maintain high service standards.
- Deploy and configure school technology, computers, and operating systems according to organizational standards.
- Maintain and secure local area networks, internet connections, and hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Lead IT infrastructure improvement projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and inventory tracking.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior IT officers and associates to foster a culture of service excellence.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with strong academic standing.
- 5 to 10 years of progressive IT industry experience, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive technical knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and network protocols.
- Proven expertise in Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office administration.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and cloud services such as AWS.
