About the Role

mDoc Healthcare is a pioneering telehealth information and technology firm focused on transforming healthcare access across Sub-Saharan Africa. We operate at the critical intersection of patients and service providers, deploying innovative technology solutions to measurably improve health outcomes. We are currently looking for a dynamic, results-driven Manager, Growth and Partnerships to spearhead our commercial expansion and member acquisition efforts in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage the business development function in a fast-paced startup environment, focusing on customer acquisition, impact, and revenue generation.
  • Own the end-to-end relationship lifecycle for new and existing strategic partnerships, acting as the primary point of escalation.
  • Execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies with strict accountability for revenue targets and sustainable financial growth.
  • Identify untapped market opportunities, conceptualize new referral pathways, and scale commercial initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with product, project, technology, and service teams to ensure optimal person-centered engagement.
  • Support grant writing and proposal development efforts to secure additional funding streams.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, track key growth metrics, and report actionable insights to leadership.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, partnership building, commercial strategy, and grant writing.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive, multi-task, and deliver results under tight deadlines in a high-pressure startup culture.
  • High level of integrity, initiative, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to client service.
