About the Role

We are currently seeking a meticulous and results-driven Management and General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic Finance & Accounts team in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage month-end accounting activities, including ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and period-end close procedures.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, statements, and management accounts for executive review.
  • Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues, and report budget variances to management.
  • Supervise the bank reconciliation process and ensure discrepancies are promptly resolved.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper invoice approvals and financial documentation.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting principles, financial procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and support to members of the accounts team.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
  • Mandatory professional certification (ACA or ACCA).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency in Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Proven hands-on experience working with ERP systems and financial statements.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
