About the Role
Kainuwa Sustainable Development Foundations (KSDF) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Advisor - Medicines and Supply Chain to support the Gombe State Delivery and Insights Unit (SDIU). In this vital role, you will bridge the gap between data insights and actionable management solutions to enhance health-system performance across underserved communities in Nigeria. You will work closely with government health institutions to eliminate bottlenecks, improve commodity availability, and drive sustainable health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor priority supply-chain issues including stock-outs, expiry, inventory turnover, and procurement adherence using GODMA/GoPharma and LMIS data.
- Link commodity availability with service volumes and facility performance alongside DIU analysts.
- Coordinate resolution and escalation for cross-institutional supply chain challenges exceeding normal operational authority.
- Track Technical Management Team (TMT) actions affecting procurement, distribution, and financing.
- Deliver monthly commodity exception briefs, supply-chain action trackers, and root-cause summaries.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Public Health, Health Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in health commodities, pharmaceutical supply chains, and health-system strengthening.
- Strong familiarity with LMIS, DRF, and public-sector commodity systems in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated experience working with government health institutions and multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
