About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is a dynamic Information Technology company specializing in innovative people screening solutions and recruitment processes. We are currently looking for a results-driven Managed Care / Marketing Officer to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will manage day-to-day interfaces with assigned HMO and retainership schemes, ensuring seamless enrolee care, timely authorizations, and efficient claims processing to support our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Verify enrolee eligibility and process pre-authorization and referral requests in compliance with scheme terms.
- Prepare, submit, track, and reconcile claims while following up promptly on rejections and outstanding payments.
- Liaise effectively with assigned scheme partners regarding authorizations, queries, and dispute resolutions.
- Coordinate closely with clinical teams to ensure healthcare is delivered within scheme rules and properly documented.
- Respond promptly to enrolee enquiries and complaints, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate managed-care records and generate regular activity and performance reports.
- Possession of a relevant first degree or HND in health sciences, nursing, public health, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Successful completion of the mandatory NYSC program or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven relevant experience in managed care, HMO operations, health insurance, or healthcare administration.
- Strong working knowledge of HMO and retainership processes, medical authorisations, and claims management.
- High attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.
