About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is currently recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Mall and Technical Coordinator to manage the comprehensive technical operations and facilities of a major commercial mall and residential complex. In this pivotal role, you will ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality environment for tenants, visitors, and stakeholders while optimizing facility performance and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily technical and facility operations, manpower deployment, help desk functions, and overall service delivery.
- Oversee Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC systems, electrical power systems, generators, transformers, and HT/LT panels.
- Supervise the maintenance of chillers, VRV, AHUs, FAUs, pumps, VFDs, and sewage/water treatment plants (STP/WTP).
- Coordinate local vendors, contractors, and technical service providers, including SLA management, negotiations, and bill certifications.
- Monitor firefighting systems, CCTV, access control, public address systems, and other essential ELV and security infrastructures.
- Oversee building maintenance, structural works, waterproofing, finishing, and landscaping activities.
- Manage diesel procurement, fuel consumption logs, and energy monitoring or auditing initiatives.
- Liaise with clients, facility managers, local authorities, and utility providers to ensure compliance and seamless operations.
- Prepare comprehensive manpower, maintenance, operational, and weekly management reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in technical and facility management within malls, department stores, or large commercial complexes.
- Strong hands-on technical expertise in BMS, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire safety infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, budget administration, and leading technical teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
