About the Role
Bell Oil & Gas, a leading wholly-owned Nigerian oil services company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Major Projects Manager to lead our project operations. In this critical role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of major projects, manage high-value bids and NIPEX registrations, and ensure alignment with our high standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and safety within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation, review, and timely submission of technical and commercial bids, proposals, and tender documents.
- Manage all NIPEX registrations and maintain seamless liaison with relevant regulatory and internal units.
- Develop comprehensive project work plans, enforce strict deadlines, and manage project costs effectively.
- Ensure the successful implementation of financial, operational, and administrative components of all active projects.
- Maintain and manage project assets, equipment lists, up-to-date certifications, and personnel deployment.
- Oversee the collation of project reports, including progress, highlight, and incident reports.
- Manage, mentor, and foster professional development within the Major Projects team.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Business Development departments.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in project management within the oil and gas or related industry.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and Primavera.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
