About the Role
Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC) is a reputable trading and agricultural export firm expanding its operational expertise into energy solutions. We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious CNG Operations Supervisor to join our facility in Idokpa, Edo State. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operational activities of our CNG daughter station, ensuring the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted supply and dispensing of compressed natural gas while upholding the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of all CNG dispenser operators on the forecourt to maintain seamless station workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify that all operations are carried out safely and in strict compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all operational logs, shift reports, and employee attendance records are accurately maintained and kept up to date.
- Coordinate closely with the maintenance team to report equipment faults promptly and support both routine and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and permit-to-work systems.
- Train, mentor, and coach CNG dispenser operators on safe handling procedures, emergency response protocols, and excellent customer service standards.
- Minimum of an HND or first degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Petroleum/Gas), or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in CNG, LPG, natural gas, or fuel station operations, including 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Valid training in gas handling safety, fire-fighting, and first aid, with NEBOSH IGC or IOSH certification being a strong advantage.
- Working knowledge of CNG dispensing, decanting processes, high-pressure gas hazards, and emergency response procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) alongside strong communication and leadership abilities.
