About the Role
Wertvoll Consulting Services, a premier hospitality consulting firm headquartered in Lekki, Lagos, is partnering with our esteemed client, Blue Apple Hotel located in Awoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, to recruit a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Officer. In this vital role, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of facility management, ensuring that all hotel equipment and infrastructure operate at peak performance to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel facilities, guest rooms, and public areas.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues promptly.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized technical repairs when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the hotel premises.
- Respond swiftly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to resolve issues with minimal disruption.
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Trade Test certification in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in facility maintenance, preferably within the hospitality or real estate sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a commercial facility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Residing in or around Ibeju-Lekki, Awoyaya, or surrounding areas in Lagos is an added advantage.
