About the Role
Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited, a premier hospitality consulting firm based in Lagos, is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Officer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a vital part in elevating our hospitality standards by ensuring that all hotel facilities remain safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical installations, lighting systems, and circuit breakers safely.
- Address plumbing issues including leaking pipes, blocked drains, and faulty sanitary fixtures promptly.
- Monitor air conditioning units, generators, water pumps, and ventilation systems for optimal performance.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance inspections across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Resolve general building defects, including doors, locks, furniture, and fittings to maintain high operational standards.
- Supervise external contractors and service providers to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logbooks, document daily repairs, and manage inventory requests for spare parts.
- Minimum of SSCE with relevant technical training, trade certification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in hotel, residential, or commercial facility maintenance.
- Solid working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, generator, and HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
