About the Role
Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited is a premier hospitality consulting firm incorporated in 2009 to elevate the standards of hospitality and leisure across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic team at our client location in Ijaiye-Ojokoro, Lagos. In this vital role, you will be responsible for upholding the exceptional quality and safety of our hospitality environments through hands-on technical expertise and diligent facility management.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and comprehensive inspections of all hotel facilities and guest areas.
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water supply, and general building systems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance emergencies.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and operational downtime.
- Monitor and service generators, water pumps, air-conditioning units, and specialized hotel equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all maintenance activities, repairs, tools, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure all maintenance operations strictly comply with health, safety, and corporate hotel standards.
- Coordinate with external contractors and specialized service providers when major or technical repairs are required.
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Trade Test Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in hotel or facility maintenance within the hospitality industry.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and generator operations.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for safety and detail.
