About the Role
Allied Food and Confectionery Services Limited, the renowned home of top global food brands like Burger King in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of service and food safety by ensuring all facility equipment operates at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and swiftly repair kitchen equipment, HVAC units, and general infrastructural issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential hazards, wear and tear, or operational inefficiencies.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate seamlessly with external contractors and internal operations teams to execute facility upgrades and urgent repairs.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance and repair operations.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of commercial or industrial equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as an active member of a team.
