About the Role
Aldelano Organic Foods is pioneering clean green farming through hydroponically grown, organic greenhouse produce of superior quality. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Refrigeration, Electrical & Solar Systems Engineer to lead the design, fabrication, and maintenance of our industrial solar-powered 40-foot ColdBox units at our facility in Obafemi Owode, Ogun State, with immediate resumption required.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build complete industrial refrigeration systems for 20-foot and 40-foot ColdBox containers, calculating cooling loads, BTU/hr, and system efficiency.
- Engineer electrical distribution systems, control panels, and protective circuits while integrating solar, battery, inverter, and generator power supplies.
- Calculate solar PV capacity, inverter size, and battery storage requirements to optimize hybrid power systems.
- Develop engineering drawings, technical specifications, bills of materials, and comprehensive cost estimates.
- Supervise component assembly, installation, quality control, testing, and commissioning while establishing preventive maintenance schedules.
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, or Refrigeration Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in industrial refrigeration, electrical engineering, or integrated solar energy systems.
- Strong proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or PVsyst.
- Proven ability to perform cooling-load calculations, energy consumption analysis, and equipment sizing.
- COREN registration or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
