About the Role
Class Suites Hotels & Apartments is a premier modern-style hotel chain strategically located near Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, with prime lodgings across Ikeja, Ogudu, Ogba, Agege, and Jabi metropolis in Abuja. We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preserving the high standards of our facilities, ensuring that all guests enjoy a seamless, safe, and comfortable lodging experience.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and assign daily maintenance projects to facility staff.
- Oversee ongoing maintenance programs, including routine checks, seasonal preparations, renovation projects, and scheduled upgrades.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all repairs, inspections, and equipment inventory.
- Create, manage, and strictly adhere to an approved maintenance budget.
- Collaborate effectively with third-party contractors, suppliers, and external technicians as needed.
- Ensure total safety compliance across the property, including conducting staff training on essential safety measures.
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering, Estate Management, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Maintenance Officer or similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of general maintenance processes, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent organizational, record-keeping, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and coordinate with third-party vendors.
