About the Role
Sinoma Cargo International Nigeria Limited is a premier logistics and warehousing subsidiary established in Lagos in 2016. Operating a robust fleet of trailers, tow-beds, and CNG vehicles, we deliver comprehensive supply chain solutions across West Africa. We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Assistant Supervisor to join our dynamic team and ensure the optimal performance of our heavy-duty fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in planning, coordinating, and monitoring both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Supervise mechanics, technicians, and maintenance assistants to guarantee timely and high-quality repairs.
- Monitor vehicle breakdowns, diagnose recurring mechanical problems, and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Ensure routine inspections and servicing of trucks, trailers, CNG vehicles, and other essential fleet equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance schedules, vehicle service records, job cards, and detailed repair reports.
- Relevant professional experience in fleet maintenance, heavy-duty truck repairs, and workshop operations.
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, transmission systems, braking systems, suspension, and vehicle electrical systems.
- Prior knowledge of CNG-powered trucks and their specific maintenance requirements will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively coordinate technicians and monitor daily workshop activities.
