We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the manufacturing sector for a dedicated Machine Operator to join their dynamic production team in Ogun State. Key Responsibilities- Operate industrial production machines safely and efficiently in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Monitor continuous machine performance during production runs to ensure quality and output targets are successfully met.
- Conduct basic routine checks, cleaning, and preventative operational maintenance of assigned equipment.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and promptly report machine faults, mechanical abnormalities, or unexpected breakdowns.
- Ensure strict adherence to all workplace health, safety, and quality control guidelines.
- Maintain accurate daily production logs and uphold high standards of housekeeping around workstations.
- Collaborate closely with team members and shift supervisors to achieve daily and weekly production goals.
- Work flexible rotating shifts and take on Sunday overtime as required by the plant schedule.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating heavy machinery in a manufacturing, food-processing, or agricultural-processing environment.
- Possession of mechanical or technical skills will be a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic operational faults.
- High level of discipline, punctuality, and a strong willingness to learn on the job.
- Must reside in Agbara, Ogun State or immediate surrounding environs for easy daily commute.
