About the Role
Rainoil Limited is a leading downstream oil and gas marketing company dedicated to delivering exceptional petroleum and lubricant products across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Lubricant Inventory Coordinator to oversee our stock operations in the Southeast region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, movement, and reconciliation of lubricant inventory, ensuring optimal product availability, stringent loss controls, and accurate data recording to support our expanding retail and commercial networks.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of lubricant products across assigned Southeast locations in strict compliance with operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records on the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for all lubricant stock movements.
- Conduct regular daily, weekly, and comprehensive monthly stock counts, reconciling physical inventory against system balances while investigating and reporting any variances.
- Monitor stock thresholds closely and initiate timely replenishment requests to prevent stock-outs and minimize overstocking.
- Implement robust inventory controls to actively mitigate product loss, pilferage, damage, expiry, and fraud.
- Verify all inward and outward logistics documentation, including waybills, invoices, and delivery notes, ensuring absolute accuracy and proper filing.
- Enforce proper warehouse housekeeping, organized stock arrangement, and strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Compile, analyze, and submit periodic stock movement and reconciliation reports to the Lubricant Sales Manager and key stakeholders.
- Provide reliable, real-time stock availability updates to empower the sales team and guide customer commitments effectively.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven professional experience in inventory control, stock management, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of ERP systems utilized for modern inventory management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with exceptionally strong Microsoft Excel data analysis and reporting skills.
