About the Role
Tusen Consulting Limited is hiring a dedicated and safety-conscious LPG Filler for one of our clients in the energy sector located in Wurukum, Makurdi. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe, efficient handling and retailing of liquefied petroleum gas while maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Key Responsibilities- Sell cooking gas to walk-in and corporate customers with high standards of customer service.
- Strictly adhere to and enforce all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Operate LPG filling machines and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate daily logbooks for inventory, temperature, pressure, and sales records.
- Conduct thorough safety checks on LPG cylinders, storage vessels, and plant equipment prior to filling.
- Accurately weigh cylinders to ensure correct filling levels and prevent overfilling.
- Inspect plant equipment and report any operational issues promptly to the Plant Supervisor.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and hazard-free housekeeping of all plant areas.
- Provide support during scheduled and routine plant maintenance activities.
- Perform any other related operational duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of an SSCE, NCE, or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar plant or retail environment.
- Must be male to ensure gender balance within the operational team.
- Must currently reside within Wurukum or its immediate environs in Makurdi.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and basic mechanical aptitude.
- Good numerical skills for accurate inventory and sales record keeping.
