About the Role
GLS Academy is a dynamic e-learning organization based in Lekki, Lagos, dedicated to delivering exceptional online tutoring, comprehensive academic support, and innovative educational services to primary and secondary school students. We are currently looking for a passionate and tech-savvy Lower Primary Teacher to join our growing team of virtual educators and provide engaging online academic instruction to younger learners.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver interactive and age-appropriate online lessons for lower primary school students.
- Create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to young learners' developmental levels.
- Utilize digital learning tools and virtual classrooms to conduct classes and maintain student participation.
- Assign, review, and grade homework and coursework efficiently through digital platforms.
- Monitor individual student progress and provide constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive virtual learning environment.
- Minimum of a NCE, Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field.
- Proven experience teaching lower primary school children, preferably in a virtual or hybrid setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage young minds.
- Proficiency in using e-learning software, video conferencing tools, and digital classroom management systems.
- Strong patience, creativity, and adaptability in managing remote classrooms.
- Reside in or near Lekki, Lagos, or possess reliable infrastructure for remote teaching.
