About the Role

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist Intern to support our supply chain team in executing efficient logistics operations while adhering to strict safety and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily support for transport requests and closely monitor delivery dates to achieve on-time delivery metrics.
- Support equipment loadout plans in accordance with established planning standard operating procedures.
- Monitor shipment and truck routings, leverage cargo consolidation, and maximize backload opportunities.
- Review work orders, track active shipment movements, and ensure seamless execution across the network.
- Identify continuous improvement projects and optimization opportunities within the logistics network.
- Ensure strict compliance with international transport regulations and local Nigerian customs guidelines.
- Track real-time cargo status, evaluate vendor performance, and update import and export management systems accurately.
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related social science field.
- Must be a recent graduate with no more than 2 years of post-graduation experience.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Demonstrated knowledge of logistics rules, regulations, and processes within Nigeria.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, with working knowledge of SAP considered a strong advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical problem-solving skills.
