About the Role
Prime Harvest Fertilizers Ltd., Nigeria's second-largest compound fertilizer manufacturer backed by a 10 billion naira investment, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Representative. In this vital part-time role, you will act as our official company representative in Rivers State, managing critical supply chain operations and ensuring the smooth transit of essential raw materials from major port facilities to our manufacturing plant in Jigawa State.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the full-fledged company representative to complete cargo pickup procedures and coordinate logistics for raw materials including Urea, DAP, and MOP.
- Supervise and coordinate Urea loading operations at the Indorama Warehouse.
- Oversee the loading of DAP, MOP, and other materials at the PFI Warehouse within ONNE Port.
- Manage relevant operational documentation, ensure accurate paperwork completion, and handle administrative formalities.
- Maintain transparent and truthful financial reporting of all operational expenses with supporting evidence.
- Provide meticulous oversight by remaining on-site until cargo is fully loaded onto trucks and safely cleared for transport.
- Must currently reside in Port Harcourt, with priority given to candidates living close to ONNE Port.
- Good English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Prior working experience in the fertilizer, chemical, or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build sound working relationships with personnel from partner organizations such as Indorama and PFI-Limited.
- High level of honesty, reliability, meticulousness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Flexible part-time engagement structured around complete work cycles from shipment commencement to safe delivery.
- Competitive remuneration of 60,000 per completed cycle.
- Full reimbursement for all operational expenses incurred based on actual receipts.
