About the Role
ipNX Nigeria Limited, a leading information technology and telecommunications service provider, is seeking a skilled Logistics Officer to join our dynamic supply chain team in Nigeria. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of all foreign shipments—both air and sea—from origin to destination while ensuring zero documentation errors and full compliance with Nigerian import and export regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate freight forwarder and clearing agent selection to ensure timely order pickup and delivery.
- Coordinate with international suppliers, government agencies, and inspection bodies at the country of dispatch.
- Reconcile ordered, shipped, and delivered quantities to ensure full value is derived for the organization.
- Monitor and drive compliance with statutory shipping documentation requirements and trade regulations.
- Track shipments proactively and provide regular logistics reports to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies including NCS, SON, and NAFDAC to prevent cargo seizure or impoundment.
- University degree or HND with a minimum of Second Class Lower / Lower Credit in Social or Management Sciences.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in supply chain management or logistics.
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian import and export regulations, shipping terms, Form M processing, and trade documentation.
- Proven experience managing freight forwarders, clearing agents, and relevant government bodies.
- Bonus qualifications include knowledge of contract management and experience with Letter of Credit transactions.
