About the Role
Eastern Plains Integrated Farms Limited (EPIFL) is a leading integrated agribusiness enterprise based in Igbariam, Anambra State, Nigeria, specializing in large-scale poultry production. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fleet Supervisor to oversee our transportation network, ensuring that our distribution and operational vehicles run safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively to support our growing supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee comprehensive fleet maintenance, routine servicing, safety inspections, and prompt repairs to guarantee all vehicles remain fully roadworthy and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Manage daily vehicle allocations, driver schedules, and transport operations to maximize asset utilization across all business units.
- Monitor driver performance, behavior, and route adherence utilizing advanced GPS tracking systems, while organizing regular safety and efficiency training.
- Implement strict controls for fuel consumption, mileage tracking, and record-keeping to eliminate misuse, fraud, and unnecessary operational expenses.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes and deployment schedules to drastically reduce transit costs, fuel wastage, and vehicle idle time.
- Maintain exhaustive records regarding fleet maintenance, fuel logs, driver compliance, and generate insightful periodic operational reports for management.
- Identify innovative opportunities for cost reduction and operational streamlining without ever compromising safety or service delivery standards.
- Possession of an HND or Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven professional experience in fleet operations, transport coordination, or logistics management.
- Demonstrated expertise in vehicle maintenance scheduling, fuel management systems, driver supervision, and fleet cost containment.
- Strong working knowledge of GPS vehicle tracking platforms, Nigerian transport regulations, and relevant compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage resources efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
