About the Role
Bell Oil & Gas, a leading indigenous oil services company in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Logistics Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless movement of materials, regulatory compliance, and efficient supply chain operations within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate base operations and oversee inbound and outbound goods validation and revalidation.
- Ensure timely dispatch of validated goods and manage Form M and PAAR processing.
- Liaise effectively with freight forwarders and clearing agents to coordinate smooth port operations.
- Plan and coordinate shipment scheduling, resource allocation, route optimization, and contingency planning.
- Manage oilfield materials, including OCTG handling, storage, transportation, and delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to supply chain processes, import/export legislation, and safety compliance.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly logistics reports to management.
- Hold a minimum of a University Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or oilfield materials management.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to drive confidently.
- Demonstrated expertise in transportation management, global trade regulations, and risk management.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal relationship management skills.
