About the Role
Jumbo Sports Mart, a fast-growing online sales and wellness company, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to ensure our products move efficiently, accurately, and on time. In this role, you will serve as the critical link between our central warehouse and retail branches in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, guaranteeing optimal inventory availability nationwide. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the seamless flow of products between the warehouse and all retail branches to ensure timely replenishment based on approved requisitions.
- Supervise warehouse operations by verifying stock quantities and conditions prior to dispatch and upon receipt, while assisting with regular stock counts.
- Manage delivery routes, schedules, and fleet operations while supervising drivers, logistics assistants, and third-party logistics providers.
- Maintain accurate waybills, delivery notes, and transfer records while preparing comprehensive logistics performance and cost-efficiency reports.
- Enforce company compliance policies across all stock-handling processes and proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations within a retail or multi-branch environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing inter-state distribution across major Nigerian cities.
