About the Role
Fastest Cakes was birthed with the vision of delivering awesome and affordable cakes very fast, and we are looking for a dedicated Logistics Manager to join our growing team in Ikoyi, Lagos. In this vital role, you will ensure our delicious products reach our customers swiftly, efficiently, and in pristine condition while helping us scale our operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, monitor, and optimize all outgoing deliveries and customer transport.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline logistics processes and reduce operational costs.
- Supervise daily logistics activities, transportation networks, and delivery personnel.
- Organize the workspace efficiently, label goods accurately, plot optimal routes, and process shipments.
- Manage deliveries seamlessly using ride-hailing applications such as Uber and Bolt.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain.
- Must reside in or around Ikoyi, Lagos, and possess sound geographical knowledge of Lagos State locations.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using digital tools and ride-hailing apps.
- Exceptional attention to detail with sound knowledge of shipping processes and performance metrics.
- Strong communication, memorization, and teamwork skills with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including some Sundays and public holidays, on a 23-day monthly office schedule.
