About the Role
Smart Partners is looking for a results-driven Logistics Manager to oversee our daily supply chain and transportation activities. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining operational excellence by optimizing fleet management, inventory distribution, and third-party vendor relationships across our Nigerian operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate daily logistics activities, dispatches, and delivery schedules to optimize time and resources.
- Manage the company fleet, monitoring vehicle movement, fuel consumption, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise inventory movement, ensuring accurate documentation of materials received, issued, and delivered.
- Directly supervise drivers, dispatch riders, and loaders to enforce accountability and high performance.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to negotiate competitive rates and service quality.
- Maintain comprehensive records of logistics expenses, waybills, and delivery notes while preparing operational reports.
- Enforce strict safety and regulatory standards across all vehicles, drivers, and material handling procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of proven experience in logistics, transportation, fleet, or operations management.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and digital logistics or inventory record-keeping tools.
- Familiarity with Nigerian transport routes and regulatory compliance requirements.
