About the Role
Harmony Garden & Estate Development Limited is a pioneering real estate and construction firm committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence. We leverage cutting-edge technologies to enhance the sustainability, sales efficiency, and overall delivery of our premier building projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Lead to optimize our supply chain, transportation, and fleet operations across all project sites in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans and transportation schedules for all approved real estate and construction projects.
- Manage the company fleet, including construction trucks, site vehicles, and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal maintenance, roadworthiness, and insurance compliance.
- Coordinate the timely and safe transportation of construction materials to project sites in close collaboration with Procurement and Site Stores.
- Monitor fuel consumption, maintain accurate transportation records, and identify cost-reduction opportunities to maximize operational efficiency.
- Schedule the deployment and inter-site movement of construction machinery and heavy equipment according to priority.
- Identify potential supply chain risks, develop robust contingency plans, and escalate disruptions promptly to the General Manager.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly logistics performance reports and fleet utilization dashboards.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of proven experience in logistics and fleet management, preferably within the Nigerian construction or real estate sector.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment coordination, material handling, and vehicular maintenance schedules.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and risk management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics reporting and fleet management software.
- Valid driver's license and relevant professional certifications in supply chain or logistics will be an added advantage.
