About the Role
Pacific International Lines (PIL), a global top-tier container shipping line, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Executive to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving our operational excellence, managing complex supply chain networks, and supporting our business growth across local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end import and export shipment processes, coordinating sea freight, road transport, and cross-border logistics.
- Facilitate smooth customs clearance procedures and ensure complete compliance with Nigerian regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipping documentation and operational reports.
- Liaise effectively with shipping lines, transporters, customs authorities, and warehouse operators to guarantee timely cargo delivery.
- Provide proactive customer support, resolving escalated issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Identify new business opportunities, secure clients, and build lasting relationships to support company growth objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, freight forwarding operations, and sales within Nigeria.
- Strong working knowledge of import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and standard logistics management systems.
